Lions Stumble at Home in Loss to Belhaven

DEMOREST, GA—The Piedmont men's basketball team fell to the Belhaven Blazers on Saturday evening by a final of 110-76.

The Blazers were relentless with their scoring and jumped out to an early lead that they would not give up for the rest of the game.

Piedmont received solid performances from Israel Hall and Javi Marlowe in the contest, with Hall leading the Lions with 19 points on the evening and Marlowe finishing with 13 points and four rebounds.

The Lions will be back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 17th, against the LaGrange Panthers at home, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. 


TURNING POINT:
- The Blazers started hot and held control all game long. 

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Israel Hall led the Lions with 19 points in the contest.
- Javi Marlowe came alive for 13 points in conference play.
