WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- A Friday night visit to Asbury to play the Eagles in Kentucky before returning home to take on the Eagles of Emory here in Georgia on Sunday.

TURNING POINT:
- Trailing 9-7 in the first, Piedmont rattled off the next seven straight points with kills from three different Lions to surge ahead, but it was the closing effort in the first that really put the mark on the match as Piedmont won six of the seven final rallies to shut the door on the Scotties' hopes of an upset early on.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- With their 15th win of the season, the Lions have now posted their highest win total since the 2018 season when that team posted 16 a year after making a run to the USA South Athletic Conference Final.
- The Lions hit .230 as a team which is the 5th highest mark for the team this season with the highest coming in a September 15 match when Piedmont hit .324 as a team.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Kinsey Prado was the top hitter on the evening for Piedmont tallying 11 kills on just 19 attempts for a .368 hitting percentage.
- Anni McCarthy was the most efficient with her attempts though collecting five kills on just nine looks to hit a whopping .556 on the evening.
- Erin Lemons put up 23 assists while Bridget Gutterman added 10 for the evening.
- Prado joined Lola Lee to post six total blocks on the night while Lillian Gaskins and Rylee Vessell had 19 and 16 digs respectively to lead in that column.
