Men's Golf, Women's Track & Field Earn Team Sportsmanship Awards from CCS

ATLANTA - The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced the recipients of the Individual and Team Sportsmanship Awards for the Fall 2024, Winter 2024-25, and Spring 2025 seasons. These awards are presented to individuals and teams who exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship throughout the season and conference championships.

Piedmont Men's Golf not only defended its championship this past season, but also repeated as the team sportsmanship award winner for the conference. In addition, Women's Track & Field double up as well, raising the trophy for the second time in three seasons and earning the team sportsmanship nod from the conference.

Individual Awards
The Individual Sportsmanship Award is bestowed upon outstanding athletes who have consistently demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship in their respective sports

Team Awards
The Team Sportsmanship Award recognizes the collective effort of entire teams that have exhibited outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season. This year, one team from each of the 14 league team championship sports is honored with this prestigious award.
 
The recipients of the Team Sportsmanship Award are selected by each school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representatives comprising student-athletes who compete in the respective sports.
