GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have released their Academic All-District teams for softball and the Lions earned four honorees for the third consecutive year.
Jasmine Lowery and
Kennedy Votava earned honors for the third straight season to close out their careers, giving them a spot in all three seasons in which they were eligible.
Jordyn Green took a spot on the listing for the second season while
Madi Cronic earned a spot in her first season of eligibility
The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

In her second season in Demorest, Cronic took hold of the starting second base job and a spot in the middle of the Piedmont order. She batted .286 for the season and ranked third on the team with 21 RBI.

Also in her second season with the Lions after transferring in, Green established herself as Piedmont's primary catcher, starting 30 contests. She was a solid contributor at the plate, batting .321 for the season and drawing 13 walks against just two strikeouts. Defensively, she delivered a .971 fielding percentage and threw out four would-be basestealers.

Earning honors in all three seasons of eligibility, Lowery continued her outstanding career with a final exclamation point in her senior season. She started all 44 contests with most coming at first base. Lowery crossed the .400 threshold, batting .403 for the season and tied for the top spot on the team with 30 RBI.

Joining Lowery in making her third appearance on the listing, Votava capped off her outstanding career in style, batting .434 on the season and ranking second on the team with 22 stolen bases. The left fielder made just two errors on the season and was named CCS Player of the Week and All-CCS Second Team during and after her season.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.Â
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
