DEMOREST, Ga. - Piedmont women's tennis delivered yet another dominant CCS win Tuesday evening, rolling past Agnes Scott 7-0 on the road.

The win ensures the Lions at least a share of the 2025 CCS Regular Season Championship, marking the third straight for the team since the league was formed for the 2023 season. This comes after Piedmont had won four USA South West Division crowns.

After a grueling 4-3 win over Asbury in the home finale on Saturday, the Lions made quick work of the Scotties on Tuesday night, clinching the doubles point in under 20 minutes before completing all six singles wins in under an hour.

Abby Gayle Moody and Hollan Rabensdorf won 6-0 at No. 3 while Mackenzie Long and Bri Laidman also won 6-0 at No. 2 to make it a quick 1-0 lead for Piedmont.

For good measure, three-time CCS Doubles Team of the Week winners Sarah Row and Jordan Ballard also cruised to a 6-3 win at the top doubles slot.

Singles competition saw more dominance for the Lions, as they lost just four games total across the six matches.

Alyssa McSpadden won first at 6-0, 6-0 while Lauryn Leslie delivered another clinical performance in a 6-0, 6-0 win of her own at No. 4.

Then, it was the senior Laidman who provided the quick clinch, with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at the No. 2 spot.

Playing out the last three matches, sophomore Drea Robinson did not drop a game at No. 6 while Dannie Evans (6-0, 6-2) and reigning CCS Rookie of the Week Caroline Morrison (6-2, 6-0) each dropped just two games in straight set victories.

With at least a share of the conference title in hand, the Lions will look to close out the undefeated CCS slate at LaGrange this Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m.

Another group of Lions will also head to North Carolina for a pair of non-conference matches this coming weekend at Guilford and Salem as a final tune up before the conference tournament.
