2025 Softball Senior Spotlight

This group has helped lead the Lions to an 85-59 record over the past four seasons including a 31-11 mark in 2022. These six guided Piedmont to 37 conference wins and 45 at home including a 7-1 mark at Walker Athletic Complex this season. The team earned the 2022 USA South Championship and an NCAA tournament appearance.

Jasmine has made the most of her time in Demorest earning first team all-conference honors twice in her career and NFCA all-region honors in 2023. She has played in 118 games with 110 starts as a utility player, truly embodying the team-first mentality playing in many different positions through her career. She has 124 hits in her career with 50 coming in her sophomore season. She has been an extra-base threat with 36 extra base hits in her career including 31 doubles and a pair of home runs. She has totaled 57 RBI in her career and hit over .375 in three of her four seasons. Jasmine is a league all-academic team selection all three seasons so far and a CSC Academic All-District selection from 2024. Jasmine plans to graduate with a degree in forensic science. 

Jordyn transferred in for her final two years of competition after previously playing at Birmingham-Southern. She came in and made an immediate impact having played in 44 contests with 36 starts. She has totaled 38 hits over her two seasons and nine RBI. She has spent her time behind the plate for the Lions with a .979 fielding percentage and just three errors. In 2024, she posted a .380 batting average and hovers near .350 this season. Jordyn is a 2024 CSC Academic All-District honoree and a CCS All-Academic team member. Jordyn plans to graduate with a degree in accounting. 

Nepveux has appeared in 88 contests for Piedmont earning 68 starts with 20 of those coming this season alone. She has accounted for 37 hits in her career and 19 RBI with her highest batting average coming in 2023 when she hit .242 for the season. Spending her time in the outfield, she has been consistent with just two errors in her career and a .981 fielding percentage. She is a 2024 CCS All-Academic team member and plans to graduate with a degree in applied health science.  

Steinmeyer has been a force for the Lions in every capacity from the plate to the circle over her career. In the circle for her career, Megan has started 25 games including a career-high 10 last season. She has nearly 200 career innings for the Lions with over 100 in 2024 alone. She has 125 career strikeouts and a 4.02 career ERA with 13 wins to her credit. At the plate, she is dominating this season with a .415 batting average, the highest of her career so far and second best on the team currently. She has 50 hits for her career with 17 so far this season and 31 RBI over her four years. Megan plans to graduate with a degree in business administration.  

Kennedy has been a mainstay for the Lions over her career with 119 appearances and 108 starts in her four years. As an outfielder for the Lions, she boasts a .967 fielding percentage for her career with just five errors across 119 games. In her career, Votava has had 30 or more hits twice with a career-high 39 hits in 2023. She also has posted a total of 93 career hits with 27 RBI and 29 walks. She has swiped 54 stolen bases with 19 in both 2023 and 2024. She was a 2023 CCS All-Conference second team selection after leading the team with a .438 batting average. Votava is a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree and a member of the league All-Academic Team all three completed seasons so far. Kennedy plans to graduate with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Speech-Language Pathology.

Davis is a three-year member of the team after transferring in from East Georgia State. She has appeared in 29 games over her career with nine starts. She has totaled 10 hits with a career-best six in 2024 when she batted .600 with three doubles and six RBI. She has accounted for 11 RBI in her career. At Berea in 2024 she had an outstanding series including going 2-for-2 with three RBI in a 17-6 win for the Lions. She was named a CCS All-Academic Team member in 2024 and Bailey plans to graduate with a degree in forensic science.
