Jackson Houston has been selected as the Collegiate Conference of the South Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.

The guard from Suwanee, Georgia helped deliver the Lions a 1-1 week and came up clutch on a pair of three-pointers in the team's one-point win at LaGrange Saturday.
Houston tallied nine points to go with a season-high four blocks and three rebounds on Tuesday against Covenant in 19 minutes.
Then, on Saturday at LaGrange, he earned his first career start, scoring a season-high 16 points while grabbing seven rebounds in the 81-80 victory for the Lions. With the Lions trailing in the final two minutes, Houston swished home three-pointers on back-to-back possessions to put Piedmont in front, helping them hold off the Panthers in a critical CCS road win.
Up next, the Lions will close out CCS regular season play at Huntingdon. Tip off is scheduled for this Friday, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. (ET).
