LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Piedmont men's soccer was unable to find its footing in a 2-0 road loss at Covenant on Wednesday evening on Lookout Mountain.

Although the Lions only allowed seven shots on goal, the Scots were able to break through with two second half goals to take the victory.

Covenant's Fox Landgren played hero, scoring both goals, with one assisted by Tyler Johnson, putting the game away in the 86th minute.

This marks Piedmont's second consecutive 2-0 road loss in conference play after posting four consecutive non-conference home wins earlier in September.

Bobby Wood did his part in keeping Piedmont in the game throughout, making four second half saves and five total before the Scots netted the insurance goal late.

On the offensive end, Davis Knight paced the Lions with three of the team's four total shots on goal.

Up next, the Lions will return home to host Asbury in CCS action this Saturday, October 4 at 2 p.m.
