MACON, Ga. - Piedmont women's soccer left no doubt in a 10-0 rout at Wesleyan on Sunday night in Macon in the CCS conference opener.

The Lions scored five times in each half, with eight different players finding the back of the net in the win.

Sierra Judson delivered her team-leading fourth and fifth goals of the season and produced her second multi-goal performance of the season. Sophomore Molly Fitzpatrick was the other Lion with multiple goals, scoring both of hers back-to-back in the second half.

Four Lions scored the first goal of their careers, with freshmen Kylin Rothwell and Madison Johnson opening the scoring in the first half and sophomores Gretchen Dedolph and Zoe Harrison closing the festivities in the second half.

Piedmont was able to control possession all game, holding an incredible 45-1 edge in shot attempts.

Overall, 16 different Lions were credited with a shot on goal.

The scoring got started early with Rothwell scoring in the fifth minute, followed by fellow freshman Johnson in the ninth.

Judson then scored her two goals in under a four minute span in the 12th and 15th minutes, falling just short of recording a first half hat trick for the second straight season against the Wolves.

Sydney Spitzer joined the scoring parade in the 30th minute to make it 5-0 Lions going to the break.

Piedmont wasted no time out of halftime, as Fitzpatrick scored less than a minute in to make it 6-0 before adding another in the 49th minute.

Freshman Alison Witkiewicz added the team's eighth goal midway through the second half before Dedolph and Harrison closed it out late with two more goals to send the Lions to double digits for the night.

Up next, Piedmont is scheduled to take on Agnes Scott on the road this Tuesday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m.
