DECATUR, Ga. - Piedmont women's soccer improved to 2-0 in conference play, cruising past Agnes Scott 3-0 on Tuesday night in Decatur.

Junior Paige Kluba was involved in all three goals, assisting on the first two and finding the back of the net herself on the third one to help propel the Piedmont offense. Jocelyn Maseda and Molly Fitzpatrick continued their strong seasons with a goal each in the first half as the Lions took control of the contest early.

The scoring got started in the 12th minute, as Kluba played a cross in and the 5-10 Fitzpatrick beat the keeper to the far post with a long diagonal header to make it 1-0 Lions.

Then, just 10 minutes later, Kluba found the foot of Maseda, who put away her second goal of the season to extend the Lions lead to 2-0.

The Scotties were able to tighten their defense and hold the Lions off the scoreboard for the remainder of the half, but Piedmont was still able to control possession the rest of the way.

Although the Lions were unable to convert on a few solid chances in the second half, they were able to add an extra insurance goal in the 77th minute after a ball played in by Sophie Wells found Kluba, who delivered a beautiful strike for her second goal of the season.
