ATLANTA, Ga. - The Piedmont men's basketball team bounced back on Tuesday with an 86-63 win over Gallaudet at Oglethorpe. The Lions move to 5-3 on the season, averaging 89 points per game. 

Piedmont controlled the contest from end to end, never trailing in the game. The teams were knotted at 14 with 13:51 till halftime, but that was the game's final tie. 

With 8:00 to go until the half, Piedmont went on a 16-2 run, including four 3-pointers. The Lions led 52-31 at the half and built as large as a 34-point lead in the second half. 

Piedmont scored 28 points off turnovers with Fisher Darden leading the pack scoring 19. Isreal Hall scored 17 points off the bench and added three steals. 

Up next, the Lions return home for the final game inside Cave Arena in 2024, facing Southern Virginia on Thursday, December 19 at 2 p.m.

TURNING POINT:
--Piedmont never trailed in the contest, with the last tie coming when the two were tied at 14. 

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
--Isreal Hall was one away from tying a career-high as he contributed 17 points off the bench, marking his third game of the season, scoring 17 or more. 
--Fisher Darden led all scorers with 19 points going 8-of-10 from the field. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
--Griffin Neville was 4-for-4 from the 3-point line as Piedmont totaled 11 3-pointers to Gallaudet's two.
