  • Senior Walker Capelle capped off an incredible season, becoming the first ever Piedmont Men's Cross Country Individual Champion in the CCS.
  • Capelle was able to best teammate Layton Bradford by just over 10 seconds as Piedmont held the top two finishers and took second place overall in the championship.
  • One race after setting a new PR and the school record in the 8k, Capelle came up short of that mark, but it was more than enough to allow him to cross the finish line first.
  • Bradford earned a runner-up finish for the second consecutive season, but improved by over a minute from his time at the 2023 CCS Championship.
  • Another senior cracked the top 10, as Tucker Cox took eighth place with a time of 28:11.60.
