Senior Spotlight: Cross Country

2025 Cross Country Senior Spotlight

Bradford has competed in 23 total meets over his four seasons on the cross country team. Also a four-year member of the CCS Championship winning Piedmont Track & Field program. He has saved his best for last, delivering PR performances in the 8k this season at the team’s most previous meet, the South Region Showdown in Virginia. Layton has collected a wide range of honors and awards for his stellar performance that includes two All-CCS First Team, one All-CCS Second Team, and two CCS Runner of the Week awards. He plans to graduate with a degree in applied health science.

Caccamo has competed in 15 total meets over her three seasons on the cross country team, having joined the team for her sophomore season. Also a four-year member of the CCS Championship winning Piedmont Track & Field program, Bella has emerged as the leader of the team in her senior campaign. She has saved her best for last, delivering PR performances in the 5k this season at the UNG XC Invitational and the 6k in the team’s most previous meet, the South Region Showdown in Virginia. In the classroom, Caccamo has earned Academic All-Conference honors and has also impacted all of Piedmont athletics through her outstanding work as a gameday operations assistant for Piedmont Athletic Communications. She plans to graduate with a degree in sports management.
