GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have released their Academic All-District teams for men's soccer and the Lions are represented with three honorees.

Nathan Jacome and
Davis Knight have each claimed a spot on the listing in their first year of eligibility.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 10, 2024.
Grant appeared in 17 contests for the Lions in his sophomore campaign, making 16 starts in multiple spots on the field. The Alpharetta, Georgia native added a goal and an assist on the season, highlighted by scoring Piedmont's lone goal at home against Covenant.
Nathan Jacome | So. | Suwanee, Ga.
Jacome appeared in and started 17 contests for Piedmont as the anchor of the back line. He made multiple starts at outside back and center back during the season and also contributed offensively, with a goal and an assist. He scored his first goal of the season, the game-winner in the team's 1-0 season-opening win against Centenary (La.).
Davis Knight | So. | LaGrange, Ga.
The sophomore from LaGrange, Georgia built upon a standout rookie season with another All-CCS First Team appearance in 2024. Knight led the team with 11 goals and 24 points while also adding a pair of assists. He was named CCS Offensive Player of the Week in September after a career-high four-goal performance at Warren Wilson.
