SAVANNAH, Ga. - Freshman ERIN DONOVAN is picking up where she left off in the fall as she sits tied for second after the opening round of the Savannah Invitational. Donovan shot a 73 (+1) on Monday to place her one stroke back off the leader. 
 

Donovan recorded four birdies in the first round, shooting two under through the first eight holes as she began on the back nine. 

SARAH FOX began the spring season with an 84 as she ended the day with a pair of birdies in the final three holes. MORGAN CALHOUN was just off Fox with an 86 as she shot just six over on the front nine. 

SAVANNAH BAREFOOT shot a 93 after struggling out of the gate but managed to shoot just four over on the front nine. Freshman CAITLYN CHILITO turned in a 94 to round out the Lady Lions' efforts on day one. 

Centre leads the event as a team with a 302 team score while the Colonels Anika Rana leads the event shooting a 72 in the opening round. 

Round two is scheduled for Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.
