DEMOREST, Ga. - The Piedmont women's basketball team returned to Cave Arena and rolled past Agnes Scott 76-39 on Saturday afternoon.

The win marked the team's third in a row after a two-game home losing skid.

Agnes Scott scored the first basket of the game, but from that point forward, it was all Piedmont. The Lions went on a 32-0 run to erase all doubt.

Overall, 15 different Lady Lions found points in the box score as 17 players saw action.

Newcomer KELSEY BANKS was the only Piedmont player in double figures with 10 points while senior CARA CRUMP was perfect from the field, scoring seven points and adding four rebounds and three assists without a turnover.

Piedmont took a 40-8 lead into the locker room after the 32-0 first half run overlapping the first and second quarter. The Scotties did battle back with a 25 point offensive explosion in the third quarter, but the Lions' lead was too much to overcome in the 35-point victory.

Up next, the Lions will look to avenge its home loss to LaGrange with a road contest against the Panthers scheduled for next Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m.

TURNING POINT:
- While the Scotties scored the opening basket of the game, Piedmont responded with a 32-0 run, holding Agnes Scott without a point for a over 10 minutes of game action.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
