GREENVILLE, S.C. - In the regular season finale, the Piedmont University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match at Bob Jones. This was the second meeting with the Bruins this season.

Jenna Ash led Piedmont with 13 kills as the Bruins totaled 40 kills to Piedmont's 36. Vanessa Manzo posted 31 of Piedmont's 32 assists in the contest. 

Defensively, Piedmont spread the wealth as Taylor Herrmann totaled 15 digs while Zoe Coelho and Kaylee Ashcraft added 11 each. 

Bob Jones took the first set 25-19 and Piedmont fought back and kept it close in the second dropping it 25-22, but that was the closest they would come with a 25-18 loss in the third. 

Up next, Piedmont will host Berea for the first round of the CCS tournament on Tuesday, November 7. 

TURNING POINT:
--Bob Jones took control of the contest in the first set and did not let the Lions back in it.
