LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Piedmont women's basketball team snapped its two-game losing streak with a 72-57 victory at Covenant on Saturday afternoon in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
The win improves the Lions' overall record to 10-8 overall and 6-3 in the CCS.
Piedmont raced out to a fast start in the opening quarter and never looked back, as the early lead was too much for the Scots to overcome.
The Lions' bench provided strong support on Saturday, scoring 32 of the team's 72 total points. The group was led by
KYRIAKI TAYLOR, who poured in a career-high 15 points while
COLBY REED added 14 of her own.
The starting crew was led by a career-high tying 17 points from
LAKEN STILES.
Piedmont has now won nine consecutive contests over the Scots overall and have won 11 straight games at Covenant.
