AVERY JENKS etched his named in the Piedmont men's lacrosse career record books as the Lions cruised past Huntingdon 18-3 on a rainy Tuesday in Demorest.
Jenks continued his outstanding senior campaign, recording his fifth consecutive hat trick and his fourth consecutive contest with at least two assists. The Peachtree City, Georgia native now stands alone as the program's all-time leader in career assists and points.

Despite a slow start, the Lions were able to break the game open with a big run late in the first half and never looked back on their way to a second straight blowout win.
The defense was especially strong, as it held the Hawks to just one goal until late in the contest.
Piedmont was able to lead wire-to-wire, breaking the scoreless tie just over three minutes in on a goal from
MICHAEL ANDERSON off an assist from
BRADY MCGUIRE. The Lions added two more goals to lead 3-0 before Huntingdon broke through for its only goal of the first half.
With the score just 3-1 in Piedmont's favor going into the second quarter, the Lions used a 9-0 offensive onslaught in the period to put the game away before the break.
Piedmont was able to increase the lead even more with a 4-0 edge in the third quarter before the Hawks added two late goals in the fourth.
Up next, the Lions will remain at home and host William Peace this Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m.

- Piedmont was able to pull away with a 9-0 surge in the second quarter.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Jenks recorded exactly four goals and two assists for the second straight game and put his name in the record books in the process.

CHASE GOFF each tallied three goals. It marked Anderson's second hat trick of the season and Goff's first.

BRADY MCGUIRE paced the team with three assists on the night.

AVERY JENKS surpassed his older brother Brady and now has 175 points in his Piedmont career.
- Jenks also now owns the all-time career assist record with 64, surpassing Sumner Gantz
