Track & Field Programs Named as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams; Hazen Honored as Individual

NEW ORLEANS, La. – All-Academic Athletes and Teams for the 2021 NCAA Division III Track & Field seasons were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Piedmont's men's and women's programs were both listed as All-Academic Teams while men's sophomore runner JULIAN HAZEN was honored as an All-Academic Athlete.

Hazen, a mass communications major from Buford, Georgia, excelled on the track this season while also meeting the USTFCCCA's academic criteria to be named one of over 450 men's All-Academic Athletes at the Division III level.

Both of head coach Jamie Jimison's programs also met the necessary requirements set forth by the USTFCCCA to earn team distinctions.
