DELAND, Fla. – In the final contest before the holiday break, the Piedmont University men's basketball team faced off with Division I Stetson University in a non-counting exhibition game. The Hatters claimed a 97-53 win on their home court.Â
Stetson was lights out from deep with 18 3-pointers in the contest, but the Lions were not far off. Piedmont made 20 baskets from the floor with 12 coming from long range.Â
NOAH REARDON accounted for seven of the 12 3-pointers for Piedmont as he was heating up from deep scoring 23 points, a game-high.Â
ANDREW STIMPSON also added 13 points while
JOE HELENBROOK led the team with five rebounds.Â
Stetson led 52-21 at the half, but it was a more tightly contest game in the second half with the Hatters outscoring Piedmont 45-32. The Hatters had five players in double figures led by Rob Perry who scored 21.

--The Hatter's first four baskets from the floor were 3-pointers as they made 18 3-pointers in the game.Â

NOAH REARDON was electric from behind the arc making seven 3-pointers accounting for 23 of Piedmont's 53 points.Â
