WINSTON-SALEM N.C. –  The Piedmont women's lacrosse team continued conference action on the road Sunday with a dominating performance in a 21-1 win over Salem College. 

The Lady Lions left no doubt in the contest as they scored early and often against the Spirits taking an 8-0 lead after just over 10:00 of play.

DOMONIQUE STEELE had three goals during that span and quickly added an assist on the ninth goal of the game. Steele ended the day with four goals and three assists as Steele and EMMA FRANSEN both held that stat line with seven points. 

ROWAN BUMPASS led all scorers with five goals while two Lady Lions scored their first goals of the season on Sunday. ERIN AYLWARD and AMARI PRICE scored one goal each marking the first goal of Price's career. 

AISLYNN KIMBRO impressed with six points (3,3) and added eight ground balls, five caused turnovers and five draw controls. Salem as a team had nine ground balls, just one more than Kimbro solo. 

Fransen also added five draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. 

HUNTER PARRETT allowed just one goal while making seven saves. 

Turning Point
--The Lady Lions built a 12-0 lead to begin the game and set the tone early.
