DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont men's lacrosse team rallied in the second half to secure a 14-13 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Tied 13-13 with over three minutes to play, JEREMY KOHN scored his third goal of the game to capture the win for the Lions.

After a Wentworth (3-1) goal at 11:22 in the third quarter to put the Leopards up 10-5, Piedmont (4-2) scored seven-unanswered goals to pull ahead 12-10. The Lions received goals from BRADY JENKS (2), CONNOR ROGERS (1), JOSH COBBINA (1), WILLIAM FRENCH (1), Kohn (1) and AVERY JENKS (1).

Wentworth then tied the game 12-12 in fourth quarter with 8:59 to play, but a Cobbina goal put Piedmont ahead with 7:25 left. The Leopards then scored with under six minutes left to tie the game again, but Kohn answered late to give Piedmont the win.

Wentworth opened the game with an early gol at 13:29, but the Lions rattled off four-straight to take a 4-1 lead to end the opening quarter. Rogers scored the first goal for Piedmont before CHASE GOFF scored his only goal of the game. Kohn gave the Lions their third goal with an assist from JARED BROCK with four minutes left. MICHAEL ANDERSON found Rogers with 1:02 remaining to put Piedmont up 4-1.

Kohn's first-quarter score was his 100th career goal in green and gold. The senior becomes the fourth Lion to score 100 goals in a career.

The second quarter was all Wentworth as the Leopards outscored the Lions 7-1. After a pair of WIT goals, A. Jenks scored to keep the Piedmont advantage at two goals. Wentworth then used a 5-0 run to close the half and scored the second-half's first two goals.

ZACH CZULADA had 18 saves in the win. For the season, the senior goalie has a USA South Athletic Conference best 61.7 save percentage and leads the conference with 49 goals allowed. He also ranks second with a 9.40 goals against average.

Defenseman DEZMOND STOLLINGS scooped up five ground balls while JASON GREXA had four.
