DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont College women's tennis team captured an 8-1 win over Pfeiffer University on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Burgen Tennis Courts. 

The Lady Lions jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after taking all three doubles matches.

The No. 3 team (NICOLE BARTLETT and MAGGIE MOODY) for Piedmont won 8-2 before the No. 1 (CAROLINE CONNELLY and MEGAN WALDHEIM) and No. 2 (IMANI VINCENT and SAMANTHA LOWRY) teams each won 8-1. 

Piedmont clinched the match as No. 2 Waldheim (6-1, 6-1) and No. 3 Vincent (6-0, 6-1) won the first two singles matches. No. 4-6 ended the day with wins. 
 
Coming Up:  
- The Lions head to Orlando for their Spring Break Trip (March 7-12). 
- The Lions will return home on March 14th as they host Huntingdon College.
