GREENSBORO, N.C. – In the second meeting between these two teams within a week's time, it was the Greensboro College Pride who came away victorious in this matchup over Piedmont 67-62. The Lions clawed their way back into contention in the second half, but the hill was too much to climb in the end.

It was a back-and-forth battle over the next few minutes, but the Pride used another 10-0 run to help them claim the lead heading into the half 34-29.

The Lions would come close at times over the second half, but were never able to reclaim the lead. Greensboro had a 13-1 run early in the second half to establish a 15 point advantage.
