SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The Piedmont women's lacrosse team dropped its second game of the season on Friday night, falling 17-4 to Sewanee in its first of two games in Tennessee for the weekend.
The Tigers raced out to an 11-0 lead in the first half and led 12-0 before
ROWAN BUMPASS scored in the second half to put Piedmont on the board.
Sewanee added a goal before freshman
AISLYNN KIMBRO scored her first goal of the season.
Bumpass and
EMMA FRANSEN added goals before Sewanee closed the game with a three goal stretch.
MATTIE KEATON had seven saves in the loss.
CASSIDY HEFLIN had one assist with seven draw controls and three ground balls.
