DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont College women's soccer team lost 1-0 to Covenant College in Wednesday's USA South Athletic Conference matchup.

The first-half saw little action as both teams combined for 13 shots. Covenant (8-5-2, 5-1-1 USAS) had two shots on goal while Piedmont (11-6-1, 5-2-0 USAS) managed one.

The scoreless draw came to an end as Covenant's Kyra Duble found the back of the net in the 71st minute.

Piedmont had opportunities in the final 45 but couldn't convert as the Scots left Demorest with the win.
