LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Piedmont College women's soccer team defeated LaGrange College, 2-0, as the Lady Lions controlled play for the full 90 minutes in Sunday's USA South Athletic Conference match.

Despite only scoring two goals, Piedmont (11-5-1, 5-1-0 USAS) dominated the stat sheet, outshooting the Panthers (7-10-0, 1-6-0 USAS) 38-2.
For the past two games, Piedmont has outshot its opponents 85-3.
CASSIE KIRK scored the game's opening goal in the 15th minute after receiving an assist from
ALEEA BISHOP. After missing most of the season due to injury, Bishop has had two assists in the past two games.
At the halftime break, Piedmont led 1-0 with a 19-2 shot advantage.
The second half mirrored the first for the Lady Lions as they again had 19 shots.
KAYLEE KING scored her fourth goal of the season in the 89th after classmate
ANYA OLSON found her for the assist.
MIRANDA MCNALLEY played all 90 minutes in goal but faced no shots.
