MARYVILLE, Tenn. - The Piedmont men's basketball team dropped its mid-week USA South matchup against Maryville College 83-56 on Wednesday afternoon.
Piedmont jumped out to a 10-7 lead, but Maryville used a 25-6 run to take a 32-16 lead with over five minutes to play in the first half and led 42-24 at the break.
The second half mirrored the first as Piedmont failed to pull within 17 points.
MARQUISE LANIER and
JORDAN FOOTE each had double digit points while
JUSTIN QUICK led the team with nine rebounds.
Maryville finished 9-of-19 from the 3-point line while shooting 47 percent.
Turning Point
-- Maryville used a 25-6 run in the first half and never looked back.

MARQUISE LANIER led the Lions once again this season with 13 points.
