DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont men's tennis team improved to 10-5 after downing Brevard 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the Burgen Tennis Courts. 

The Lions had few issues with the Tornados as five of the six singles matches were won in straight sets. 

In doubles play, the #3 duo of BRYAN BARNETT anf AUSTIN MILLER won 8-0 before the #2 team of ALEXANDER TOMLIN and SAMUEL NIEBANCK won 8-2. 

The #1 team of NATHAN METZGER and JACKSON HILL put Piedmont ahead 3-0 with an 8-5 win. 

Barnett would take the first singles win at #3 with a score of 6-2, 6-0. Metzger followed Barnett with a 6-1, 6-4 win at #1 before Miller won in three sets at #6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

HARRISON LABOLLITA took a 6-0, 6-0 win at #4 before KANLER CUMBASS won 6-3, 6-3 at #2. 

ANDREW CHITTY closed the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win at #5.
