DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont College men's tennis team earned a 5-4 win over LaGrange College to split the season series with the Panthers.
HARRISON LABOLLITA clinched the win with a 6-2, 6-3 win at #6 singles.
The Lions swept doubles play with a tight win at #3 doubles with a 9-8 victory by
ANDREW CHITTY and
BRYAN BARNETT.
ALEXANDER TOMLIN and
SAMUEL NIEBANCK won 8-6 at #2 while
NATHAN METZGER and
JACKSON HILL took an 8-3 win at #1.
Metzger won 6-0, 6-0 at #1 singles but then the Panthers reeled off wins at #2, #3, and #4 to make it 4-3 Piedmont leading with LaBollita then clinching at #5 singles.
