Sewanee, Tn. - The Piedmont College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match to Sewanee at the Tigers' home court on Sunday. The men move to 0-2 before hosting Berry College on Tuesday.
NATHAN METZGER and
JACKSON HILL dropped a close set at #1 doubles losing 8-5 while Metzger won his opening set at #1 singles but dropped the next two decisions 6-2, 6-0.
ANDREW CHITTY had a similar story at #6 singles claiming a 6-3 win in the first set but dropped the next two 6-3, 11-9.

--Sewanee swept through doubles play and was in control throughout the match.
Standout Performances
--At both #1 and #6 singles,
NATHAN METZGER and
ANDREW CHITTY, forced three sets but could not clinch a point.
