DECATUR, Ga. – With snow looming on the radar, the Lady Lions took an early trip to Agnes Scott Tuesday afternoon where the first half defense of PC held the Scotties to only 12 points leading the Lady Lions to a 62-28 victory.

The Scotties opened up fast hitting a jumper after two free throws to start the game. The four-point differential was quickly decreased as CARLIE SHIELDS hit her first three points on her way to 13 total in the game. The game would stay leaning in favor of ASC until LAKERRA LAWSON hit a free throw to tie the game at eight. From then on Piedmont was on a roll taking the quarter 17-10.

An eight-point run would start things off for the Lady Lions and Agnes Scott would score their only two points of the second quarter with just under six to play in the half. This would give PC a 17-point run and put them up 42-12 going into the half.

Piedmont would score four more to open the third as AMARI PRICE and DAKOTA SULLENS each added to the Lady Lions' lead. The Scotties broke their drought with five straight points with 6:45 showing on the clock. PC closed out the third quarter with a nine-point run leading 56-21 going into the final quarter.

With the large lead gained in the first half, the Lady Lions would slow down in the fourth quarter. PC would take the USA South road contest 62-28.
