Demorest, GA - Completing a tough 3-game swing in conference play, the Piedmont College women's soccer team was forced to settle for a scoreless draw on Wednesday evening against visiting USA South foe Maryville College.

CASSIDY REICH led Piedmont with four shots finding the target multiple times, but Maryville keeper Rachel Taylor was able to make the saves when needed to keep the contest scoreless.  Taylor combined with Piedmont keeper MICHAELA GARDNER to force the second scoreless draw between these two programs in the last four meetings.

Maryville created a large advantage with nine corners to three for Piedmont, but Gardner was up to the task several times making key saves throughout as did the Piedmont defense which posted its 12th clean sheet in 15 games now on the season.

Turning Point
--A save by MICHAELA GARDNER in the final seconds of overtime kept the game scoreless helping Piedmont to hold on to a draw and a crucial point at home in the league standings.

Standout Performances
