Rocky Mount, NC - The Piedmont College baseball team has backed up its weekend series with USA South member North Carolina Wesleyan College this coming weekend due to weather in the Rocky Mount area. Originally scheduled for a Friday-Saturday-Sunday three-game set, the series will now feature a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon starting at 1:00 pm, followed by a single game on Monday also starting at 1:00 pm.

The Lions are currently 15-7 overall and 8-4 in league play after sweeping the Hawks of Huntingdon College last weekend in a big USA South series for the boys from Demorest.  Piedmont looks to take its fourth USA South series this weekend at NC Wesleyan as the Battling Bishops come into the series with a 4-10 mark in league play as they sit in 8th place of 10 teams.
