Box Score 2 STAUNTON, Virginia -- The Piedmont College volleyball team went on the road today to earn a pair of USA South Athletic Conference victories over host Mary Baldwin College (3-0) and Meredith College (3-0). The Lady Lions pair of straight-set victories improve the squad to 12-4 overall and a perfect 2-0 in conference action.

JENNIFER OPPER and
KAITLIN NORMAN each added eight kills apiece.
KATHERYN KNARR dished out 16 assist while
PAIGE ESLINGER (24) and
KATIE FAITH (11) combined for 35 digs.
In the second match, the Lady Lions won 25-21, 25-19, 25-19 highlighted by Opper's nine kills. Norman contributed with another eight kills while Bradshaw tallied five. Knarr (20) and
XANDY GREEN (10) combined for 30 assists while Eslinger picked up 21 digs.
Opper hit an impressive .333 in both matches to lead an efficient effort in the first USA South matches of the year.

Piedmont returns to action on October 2 when the team plays host to Agnes Scott College in non-conference action at PC's Cave Arena with first serve scheduled for 7:00 PM.
