Box Score DEMOREST, Georgia -- The visiting Pride of Greensboro College posted a 3-0 victory over Piedmont College this afternoon in USA South Athletic Conference men's soccer action at PC's Walker Field. The loss drops the Lions to 4-4-1, 0-1-1 USA South while the win improves GC to 5-2-2, 1-0-2.
Morgan Stevenson secored GC's eventual game-winner in the game's 36th minute on an assist from Logan Paussa as the Pride would take a 1-0 lead into intermission.
Craig Gage would tack on an unassisted goal in the 52nd minute with Mark Wleh adding the game's final score on an assist from Joel Cortez with five minutes remaining.
In goal, the Pride's Manbi Nyepon posted four saves en route to the shutout. PC's
KENNETH HEARN turned away two shots.
Greensboro held advantages in both shots (11-9) and corner kicks (4-1).
Piedmont remains in USA South action tomorrow afternoon with a 3:00 kick off against visiting Averett University at PC's Walker Field.
