Toccoa, GA -- The Piedmont College men's soccer team earned its second straight victory of the 2010 season this evening by blasting local foe Toccoa Falls College 6-0.  Playing on the road for the first time this season, the Lions' offensive push was too much in the end for the host Eagles.

Leading the Lions offensively was junior striker Nick Weatherby who posted four goals in one of the finest performances of his collegiate career.  The highlight of the evening took place when freshman Bradley Thomas served up a 70 yard ball to the back post where Weatherby knocked home a first time finish.

The win moves the Lions to 2-0 on the young season.  Piedmont will return to action on Wednesday, September 8 as the squad will play host to Greensboro College. The two sides played to a 4-3 overtime thriller in 2009 that saw Greensboro end up on top.
