Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College men's soccer team used a pair of second half goals to defeat Great South Athletic Conference member LaGrange College this evening at Walker Field by the score of 3-1. The victory seals a #2 seed in the upcoming GSAC Tournament and marks the fourth home victory for the Lions this season.

At the 75th minute senior Jorge Pradilla bent a free kick past the keeper for the eventual game-winner. The Lions would tack on an insurance goal in the closing minutes as Tom Von Berg posted his first goal of the year.

PC outshot its opponents 12-2 and earned eight corner kicks. The victory improves the Lions to 6-7-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the Great South Athletic Conference. The men will wrap up conference play on Saturday, October 24th as they play host to Huntingdon College at Walker Field starting at 2:00.
