Decatur, GA -- The Piedmont College volleyball team earned its third Great South Athletic Conference victory this afternoon at host Agnes Scott College by the score of 3-0. The match marked the third consecutive straight-set victory for the Lady Lions who remain perfect in conference play.

The squad took the first set 25-13 with the final point marking senior the 3,000th career assist for setter Tyler Baldonado.  Her career total puts her within striking distance of the all-time PC record of 3,119. The Lady Lions continued to cruise to victory taking the next sets 25-6 and 25-16 respectively. 

Katie Tucker and Nikki Cole led the offense with 12 kills apiece while Baldonado also earned a team-best 12 digs. Libero Jennifer Granlund also reached double figures with 10 digs.

The victory improves the Lady Lions to 14-6 overall. The team will return to action on Wednesday, October 14th as they travel to Great South host Maryville College in Maryville, TN for a conference showdown beginning at 6:00.
