The Piedmont College volleyball team defeated visiting non-conference opponent Oglethorpe University tonight in the Johnny Mize Athletic Center by the scores of 30-12, 30-21, 25-30, 30-25. The game marked the final home match for the Lady Lions this season.
Haylee Davis (pictured) was the team's lone senior and accumulated 12 assists and two service aces. Davis has been a member of the PC volleyball program for four years and was recognized before the beginning of the match.
Jacque DeMarrais led PC with 18 kills to lead four Lady Lions in double-figures. Ashley Landers added 16 kills and Meghann Clark and Sarah Lane also added 13 and 11 kills respectively. B.J. Ostrzycki chipped-in with 43 assists.
PC moves to 17-10 overall and will return to action again on Friday, October 21st as they travel to compete in the NCCAA South Regional in Pensacola, FL.
