The Piedmont College men's soccer team defeated Great South Athletic Conference host LaGrange College tonight in LaGrange, GA by the score of 3-1. The Lions scored twice before intermission and added a third goal in the second half.

Josh Seabrook netted the first goal of the game at the 5:00 minute mark on an assist from Drew Griffin. Blake Newton added the game-winner at the 38:00 mark on an assist from Nate Latoni.

After taking a 2-1 lead into halftime, Rob Nix earned the insurance goal at the 57:00 mark on a second assist from Griffin. Patrick Ratigan earned eight saves between the posts.

The victory moves PC to 7-6 overall and 4-1 in the Great South Athletic Conference. The Lions return to action again Friday, October 14th as they travel to Fisk University in Nashville, TN with start time scheduled for 3:00 CST.
