Most recently, she served as an assistant coach at the University of St. Thomas (DIII) in Houston, where she played a pivotal role in the program’s historic run to the 2024 SCAC semifinals.

Tatum has coached with nationally recognized programs including A5 Volleyball Club, ranked the #1 volleyball club in the country, and Texas Tornados in Houston. She is also the founder of CKTV (Coach Kat Tatum Volleyball)—a mentorship platform dedicated to athlete development, empowerment, and excellence.

Known for her resilience, leadership, and competitive edge, Tatum returns to her home state with a mission to elevate Piedmont Volleyball. She is motivated to lead the Lions with championship-caliber energy and a passion for player development.
