Piedmont University Athletics

Justin Scali has been elevated to the role of Assistant Athletic Director at Piedmont University, where he will take on expanded responsibilities in facilities and event management while continuing to serve as Head Baseball Coach.

In his new administrative capacity, Scali will oversee the reorganization and optimization of athletic office spaces, ensuring improved efficiency and workflow across the department. He will also manage the scheduling of gameday administrators for Piedmont’s home athletic events, a key role in enhancing the student-athlete and fan experience on campus.

Scali’s administrative background includes significant contributions in development and fundraising, most notably through his service as Director of Development in the Institutional Advancement office at Piedmont University for eight years. His experience in that role helped strengthen alumni engagement and provide vital resources for Lion student-athletes through athletic fundraising efforts.

While Scali’s new focus will center on athletic administration, he remains at the helm of the Piedmont baseball program. Entering his 10th season as head coach in 2025, Scali has guided the Lions to consistent success, highlighted by conference championships and the development of numerous All-Americans and award winners.
