Grayson Smith

Grayson Smith joined the Piedmont University athletic training staff in 2025 after completing her master’s degree in athletic training at the University of North Georgia. A native of Georgia, Smith earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports medicine from UNG in 2023.

During her clinical education, Smith gained hands-on experience with a variety of sports programs at the collegiate and high school levels, including stops at Young Harris College, Truett McConnell University, White County High School, and Habersham Central High School. She also completed clinical rotations with Atlanta Rehabilitation and the Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, where she focused on orthopedic evaluation, rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Smith is certified in Basic Life Support, Stop the Bleed, and Narcan administration, and is also certified through BOC. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
