Piedmont University Athletics

Eric Edmonson is a new member of the Piedmont family, being hired for the role in Oct. of 2025. 

He assists in the department's operations while providing coverage for Piedmont's varsity sports. Edmonson joins the team after graduating from Piedmont University in the spring of 2025. 

Edmonson joins the team after graduating from Piedmont University in the spring of 2025.  He has five years of hands-on experience in sports media. He began his career at Gordon State College, producing live streams and providing commentary for campus athletics. Since then, Edmonson has developed a versatile skill set that includes video and sound editing, social media management, and audio content creation—earning national recognition in podcasting. 

Edmonson looks to continue elevating Piedmont's coverage and broadcasting in his new role.  

Edmonson is a graduate of Gordon State College with an associate's in arts and from Piedmont University with a bachelor's in sports communications.
