Dr. Filippo Chillemi earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of South Alabama and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Andrews Institute for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Florida.Â
Before joining SCG-Orthopaedics, Dr. Chillemi worked with world-renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews, and provided coverage for Auburn University and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos minor league baseball team.Â
Prior to medicine, Dr. Chillemi played soccer professionally in Italy, for the youth US National Team, and at the University of Notre Dame.
