As a Freshman (2014): Competed in seven meets for the Lady Lions in 2014…Ran her first collegiate 6k at the Maryville Invitational with a time of 34:10…Set her personal record in the USA South Championship Meet where she shaved nearly two minutes off her time with a 32:16.45…Was the fourth Lady Lion to cross the line in the championship meet helping her team to a fifth place finish.
Prep & Personal: Born May 29th, 1994 to parents Nadia and Joel Rivera…Has two sisters, Mireya and Mildred, as well as one brother, Alexis…Graduated from Liberty County High School in 2013…Was a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the CNA…Majoring in Nursing at Piedmont…Was a captain for her Liberty County soccer team in high school.
