In Track & Field
As a Sophomore (2015-16): Bowles had a pair of school records in the indoor season setting the best mark in school history in the indoor 3000m at the Gamecock Indoor Invitational and indoor 1-mile at the Tiger Indoor Invitational...Set school records in the 5000m (19:12.87) and 3000m steeplechase (12:42.41) at the Victor Ice Breaker Duals, then bettered her school record in the 3000m steeplechase (12:20) at the Emory Invitational while also setting the record in the 1500m (5:16.62).

In Cross Country
As a Sophomore (2015): Set the Piedmont 6k school record at the Berry Invitational running a 23:54.24…Finished as the Lady Lions’ top competitor in each meet of the 2015 season…Won the individual title for the Piedmont College Invitational with a time of 24:44.11…Finished sixth overall in the USA South Championship Meet running a 25:03.70 earning first team all-conference honors…Helped lead the team to the fastest team average in school history at the Berry Invitational with a 25:44.43 average…Lady Lions earned 4^thoverall in the USA South Championship Meet…Finished 89^th overall in the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Meet.

Prep & Personal: Born July 10, 1996 to Selena Bowles…Native of Jefferson, Georgia…Has four sisters Hadley, Chandler, Sydney and Taylor McClure…2014 graduate of Jefferson High School…Competed in cross country and in track and field in the 1600 and 3200 under Head Coach Chad Cheatham…Earned a regional championship in track and cross country…School record holder in the 3200, distance medley relay and the 4x800…Personal bests: 12:10 in the 3200, 5:40 in the 1600,  20:02 in the 5K.
