As a Sophomore (2014-15): Played in six contests for Head Coach Jamie Purdy…Totaled 34 minutes during her sophomore season…Scored her only field goal of the season against Mary Baldwin while also going 1-of-2 from the line…Added another free throw against Averett for a total of 4 points this season…Had her longest outing of the season against Toccoa Falls with 11 minutes and a steal.
As a Freshman (2013-2014): Appeared in one game for the Lady Lions against Mary Baldwin…USA South Academic All-Conference Selection.
Prep & Personal: Native of Goodyear, Arizona…Born January 16th, 1995 to parents Linda and Scott Rockhill…Middle child of three along with older sister, Courtney, and younger sister, Kimberly…2013 graduate of Estrella Foothills High School…Majoring in Special Education at Piedmont…Also ran track and competed with her high school swim team…Prepped under high school Coach Matthew Johnson who also coached her travel team, Estrella Elite…Scored an all time high 29 points in the first basketball game of her senior year at Estrella Foothills…Also holds several school records in track and swim at Estrella including the High Jump Record (5’2), 200 Freestyle Record, 200 Freestyle Relay Record, and 400 Freestyle Relay Record… 2nd Team All-Section honoree her senior year…Named Senior Athlete of the Year in 2013…Helped guide her high school team to the program’s first Region Championship in 2011…Helped team to first round of State Playoffs in three straight years from 2011-2013.
